We begin with vowel and consonant pronunciation classes in the language of study, before continuing with the following classes.

Students whose mother tongue is English should not have any problems with Spanish phonetics, because they are going to go from a very complex system to a much simpler one.

We will focus on the pronunciation of accents and tittles in words. Stress is of the utmost importance, as an accent on another syllable can change a word entirely.

We will address verb conjugations. One of the most important concepts in teaching Spanish is conjugating verbs and helping students understand how those words change with tenses and usage.

Most Spanish verbs are regular, with the verb form -ar, -er or -ir.

I make sure that my students learn the common verb forms and in this way they can better understand the language as a whole.

I show my students online sources and web pages to look at conjugation tables. I make it clear that they are basic and that they must memorize the regular verb conjugations, as well as the irregular ones.

I teach them irregular verbs, like “ir”. Like English, Spanish has the irregular verb form for "go".

The changes in the word from “go” to “go” and “was”, etc. at the beginning of the verb conjugation. This is a foundational verb that students simply need to memorize.

Abordaremos las conjugaciones verbales. Uno de los conceptos más importantes al enseñar español es conjugar los verbos y ayudarles a los estudiantes, a comprender cómo esas palabras cambian con los tiempos y usos.

La mayoría de los verbos españoles son regulares, con la forma verbal -ar, -er o -ir.

Me aseguro de que mis estudiantes aprendan las formas verbales comunes y, de esta manera, puedan comprender mejor el idioma en su conjunto.

Les muestro a mis estudiantes fuentes en línea y páginas web para que observen tablas de conjugaciones. Les dejo en claro que son básicos y que deben memorizar las conjugaciones verbales regulares, así como las irregulares.

Les enseño los verbos irregulares, como “ir”. Al igual que el inglés, el español tiene la forma verbal irregular para “ir”.

Los cambios en la palabra de “ir” a “va” y “fue”, etc. al empezar la conjugación verbal. Este es un verbo fundamental que los estudiantes simplemente deben memorizar.
