I was born in San José, Costa Rica. My family and friends are my reason for all that I do. I enjoy the
beach, laugh, music, dance, and movies.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from “Universidad de Costa Rica”, and a Master’s degree from
“Universidad Latina de Costa Rica”, both on Language Teaching.
I have worked as an English teacher for private elementary schools and language institutions. I worked for Mount Airy City Schools, as a Spanish teacher, for the Dual Language Immersion Program. This school is located in North Carolina, USA.

This is my 11th year in education. My love and passion for my job grows every year. I seek to improve my skills not only as a teacher but as a human to impact my students’ life and learning. My main goal is to plant the seeds of love, respect, and kindness.

I also enjoy technology and try to take advantage of it to engage and create better learning opportunities for my students in our language learning environment. I like to create real-life situations that will help us put into practice what we've learned and prepare us for the scenarios that we can face outside our class. I like to have fun while helping others to achieve their goal and make progress.

Speaking another language has given me amazing experiences and friends. It's an honor to give to other people the opportunity to have these kind of connections.
