My name is Isabel Cristina Durango Fernández, I am an international biologist graduate from Universidad de Los Andes, Mérida, Venezuela. I have experience as a teacher since I have been working as a high school teacher for a year in my current job (uDiscover Virtual American School), and previous experience because I was a Teaching Assistant in Biochemistry during my bachelor's. I also worked as an English and Math teacher in a public school in Venezuela.

Nowadays, I am teaching in a bilingual virtual school Science, Chemistry, and Biology. I enjoy teaching because I am strengthening my foundations of knowledge, but also It makes me very happy when I feel that I can connect with my students and understand their feelings. I give my best and most honest advice if someone asks for it. I love languages and actually teaching Spanish is my passion. For me, the most important objective is that you learn according to your interests, taking into account what you know and the reason why you want to learn this language, so people do it to travel, others do it for work, others to communicate with friends and family, and others because they simply enjoy it for each person. I have a unique study plan which adapts to the students learning styles.

I have the TOEFL and Duolingo English Test certifications with a C1 score on the CERF, and I am a Spanish native speaker.
