For more than thirty years, I have a wide experience been the academic coordinator in Pre-school, Elementary, Middle, and High School where I have developed the curricula for all subjects. Likewise, I have deeply worked with Understanding By Design and Dimensions of Learning approaches, being able to enhance all the thinking competencies and the standards for Excellency. I have also worked through the project and portfolio approaches to improve habits of mind in the students. Likewise, I have developed pedagogical proposal and project based on Holistic Education, orienting the development of cognitive, emotional, and spiritual intelligence.

I have also worked through the project and portfolio approaches to improve Productive Habits of Mind habits in the students. Likewise, for more than 15 years I have given conferences and workshops for parents, teachers, and students in different matters oriented to cognitive subjects such as Understanding By Design, Project Approach, Brain and learning, Portfolio and assessment emotional intelligence such as Productive Habits of Mind, Metacognition, Emotional Intelligence, Limits, among several other topics, and spiritual intelligence. I have been also teaching English as a second language with an orientation in the classes considering, Active Learning, Differentiation in the Classroom, Constructivism, and Sociolinguistics. I have been a homeroom teacher for more than15 years, teaching English, Math, Science, and Social Studies in English in Elementary, Middle, and High School, working with the development of cognitive process such as metacognition in the students to develop abstract process and productive habits of mind. I have been working for the bilingual SENA project in the syllabus development and virtual learning objects creation for this purpose
