A lesson designed around the short film "The Selfie cat"

THE SELFIE CAT

The aim of this lesson is to teach beginners to describe people and animals using adjectives. The material used is a funny video about a girl and her cat that doesn´t like to appear in pictures.

The students will learn about the structures like He/she has got and some basic adjectives that describe personality and physical appearance.

While making the descriptions, the children will also learn about some differences between American English and British English. Example: She has long hair (AmE); she has got long hair (BrE). In this lesson, I will explain the structure of American English but it can be modified depending on the teacher´s needs. This class is meant to last 30 minutes.
